It was touch and go, but I figured out how to make the envelopes for the stationery! Because of the size that I wanted (6x8 more or less) it was a bit trixy. In the end, I made a template, discovered that 12x12 paper was 1.5 inches too small and then had a EUREKA moment! Paper grocery bags!
I may rarely be seen ironing a blouse, but I was a mad woman ironing the grocery bags in order to get most of the folds and wrinkles out. The envelope on top was before I thought to iron the paper!
Now I'm going to be on the hunt for paper bags with more text and designs! Love this project!
And anything that involves rubber cement is just that much more fun too!
