I'm late, I'm late for a very important date
No time to say "Hello", "Goodbye"
I'm late, I'm late, I'm late, I'm late
And when I wave, I lose the time I save
My fuzzy ears and whiskers
Took me too much time to shave
I run and then I hop, hop, hop
I wish that I could fly
There's danger if I dare to stop
And here's the reason why
You see, I'm overdue, I'm in a rabbit stew
Can't even say "Goodbye", "Hello"
No time to say "Hello", "Goodbye"
I'm late, I'm late, I'm late, I'm late
And when I wave, I lose the time I save
My fuzzy ears and whiskers
Took me too much time to shave
I run and then I hop, hop, hop
I wish that I could fly
There's danger if I dare to stop
And here's the reason why
You see, I'm overdue, I'm in a rabbit stew
Can't even say "Goodbye", "Hello"
I'm late, I'm late, I'm late
If my life had a soundtrack, this would be the song that would playing in an endless loop.
On the first of March, Simone of craftevolution invited me to participate in a craft swap. The idea sounded great: kind of like a chain letter, but with bits of arts and crafts instead of the "mail this to 10 friends in five minutes or lightening will hit your house" missives. The time frame was one week.
"Sure! No problem! Would love to!"
I learned two things this month:
1. No matter what else I might make, it will get lost amidst the bunny-stuffing project.
2. I don't really know anyone who crafts! Huh! Never really thought about that!
Someone much wiser that I once said, "Better late than never!", so yesterday I finally got the pincushion that's been hiding on my craft table in the mail! Not quite round and just a bit wonky, I hope its new owner enjoys it!
I don't think anyone can have too many pincushions!
