I felt so cool yesterday walking around this part of Munich. All alone in Europe, wandering around. How much luckier could I be? ...I wish Michael were with me.
I had a lovely dinner last night at a local Italian restaurant. I figured that I would be able to recognize some of the words on the menu and ordered calamari. When my dinner arrived, I first thought I had made a mistake as my entree looked to be a sauteed, boneless chicken breast. Then I realized it was the whole calamari, stuffed. What a wonderful choice I had made! It was stuffed with crabmeat and was so tender and delicious that I may have to eat another before I go home.
Breakfast this morning was my favorite! Smoked salmon! Yum Yum!
I had a wonderful night's sleep under one of those fabulous down comforters they have here. Also nice fluffy pillows. (Of course that's after I ate the chocolates that were left on the pillows) I feel like a princess.
Today I'm off to the zoo or a castle, definitely a beirgarten and then where ever the wind may blow me.
The weather is great! Hot for the locals, but perfect for me. It's supposed to cool off tomorrow and may rain this afternoon. That's okay.
