This project simply will not go away.
I started the embroidery on it only to discover that the beautiful backing that Patti had put on it was bunching up. Actually, it was one of those times when I suspected that this would be a problem, but decided that it would work out (Campari talking) while knowing damn good and well it wouldn't.
Five rows of running stitch and french knots into it and I had to admit the obvious truth and ripped out the stitches.
Reverting to my quilting knowledge (a.k.a. the little voice in my head earlier that said "You know this won't work!"), I fastened the blanket to a board and proceeded to pin the shit out of it.
So now it's back to square one and hopefully, this too shall pass and be done!
If I hurry, I might make baby Alex's first birthday.
