Friday Night Lights

While it's not quite Dillon, Texas, we do have our Friday Night Lights around here.

Last night was a highly anticipated and highly hyped game between the two high schools in our little town.

Last year, our Terriers ended the fourteen year winning streak by the War Eagles. The town rivalry was rekindled and everyone anxiously awaited for this year's rematch.

We began our evening with a stop for dinner at a local dining institution. The Moon Light Drive-In, where great burgers are served at your car. The only thing missing are poodle skirts and roller skates. Then it was on to the game and all the craziness there. -Even Hallowig made an appearance! -

And though there was team spirit, enthusiasm and desire, a repeat was not meant to be.

In a stadium packed with 5000 spectators, we went down. Final score: 35 -14.

Well, there's always next year!
